Mercer Morrison

Mercer Morrison is a native of north Florida. He was born and raised in Pensacola. After graduating Booker T. Washington High School in 2006, Morrison attended The University of Southern Mississippi. He graduated from USM in 2010 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Mercer Morrison started his broadcast career back in high school when he was apart of the TV Production class during his Junior and Senior year. He continued into college by reading the news for WUSM and being a reporter/anchor for USM's local tv broadcast 'Hub City TV'. Apart from being the web producer for WDAM's LocalNet site, he is also the local Movie Reviewer. Mercer has had a passion for film since he can remember. He says that when his brother and dad get together and play the board game 'Scene It' they are unstoppable. His all time favorite film is the 1975 classic thriller 'Jaws'.

When Mercer isn't at work he likes performing stand-up comedy, going to the gym, and hanging out with friends.
