The following is a press release from Jones County Junior College:

Forty-three Jones County Junior College faculty and staff were recently honored for their years of service to the college.  Administrators treated everyone to a holiday lunch and focused on employees who have served at least five years at Jones.  One employee, Associate Degree Nursing instructor, Leslie Tubbs was recognized for her 35 years as an instructor at JCJC.  Business instructor and Jones OnStage director, Joe Mauldin has served the college for 25 years. Six employees have put in 20 years, eight employees have spent 15 years, nine have worked 10 years and 16 have been working for five years at Jones.  All were given a special gift with a personalized plaque commemorating the accomplishment.

“This was a very special day for every one of the more than 450 employees at Jones, regardless of their length of employment on our campus,” said JCJC President, Dr. Jesse Smith.  “We were all able to share in the recognition of our co-workers and fellowship with everyone on campus.”
