JCJC Begins the Christmas Season with the Arts | Arts & Culture

Christmas is coming soon and Jones County Junior College’s music department is offering the public an opportunity to begin the season in style!  This year’s “Home for the Holidays” concert will be held on Dec. 2, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Laurel.  The concert is free and open to the public.

“Home for the Holidays” will be an afternoon of entertainment and inspiration for your holiday enjoyment. JCJC invites the public to begin the holidays by participating in this uplifting concert featuring the Symphonic Band, JC Voices, the Jones Concert Choir, and organist Kay Guiles.  Come early and enjoy pre-concert carols sung by the Dickens’ quartet--Wesley Barnett, Chance Ragsdale, Kristie Reddoch, and Hillary Smith.
